Azariah's open for business!

Counter service is now open at Azariah's Café on the main level of Mudd.  From 2-11 pm Sunday through Thursday, Azariah's serves sweet and savory snacks, coffee, tea, espresso beverages, and four flavors of hand-dipped ice cream (selection changes periodically).  Self-serve coffee is also available each weekday morning on the honor system, starting at 8 am 'till it's gone.

This year we're serving up coffee from a new company, Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea. Over the summer, our elite tasting team (including several students) heard presentations and sampled coffees from three different local suppliers.  Crimson Cup, a specialty coffee roaster located just down the road in Columbus, Ohio, was selected to provide the coffee sold in Azariah's.  Give it a try and tell us what you think!

That chute hanging off the front of Mudd

Portions of the roof of Mudd Center are being replaced to address chronic leaks on the south side of the 4th floor, and to head off additional problems in the future.  The large chute funnels old roofing materials directly to the dumpsters without scattering debris.  The work is expected be completed by the middle of next week.

Main Library carrel sign-up begins September 14

Sometimes you want to party in Mudd....sometimes you want to study. If it's studying that's on your mind, consider signing up for a study carrel, starting Saturday, September 14. Just bring your OCID to the circulation desk in the Main Library and get yourself settled.

All the carrels are numbered, so please scope out the ones you like in advance and make a note of the numbers. If someone got to your favorite first, you may have to accept a alternate. See details here.
