Back in business ... and *almost* finished

The Library re-opens at 8:00am on Tuesday the 28th, although the finishing touches are still being applied to the Academic Commons. Come see our progress.

Mudd Closed on Monday the 27th

The Library will be closed all day on Monday, August 27th to allow library staff to move into the renovated space.

We'll re-open on Tuesday, August 28th and the ramp will once again be the main entrance. Furniture will still be arriving, and we'll be settling into the new digs, but come have a look at the Academic Commons!

Keyword searching and the requesting feature are not working -- specialists are on the job, though and hope to restore full service soon.

Where are the videos?

Another sign of progress towards the completion of the Academic Commons project is our move of the VHS video and DVD collection from A-V Services. Even as you read, the shelving for this collection is being moved to the Main Level of Mudd to be housed behind the circulation desk. We have had to store all of the materials for a few weeks while the move is occurring and will not be offering general circulation of the materials during that time. We apologize for that inconvenience. If you have an urgent academic need to view one of our video collection, please contact Allison Gallaher in the circulation department (x55019) for special assistance. We looking forward to offering expand hours to the collection when we open our new circulation desk in a few weeks.
