On Tuesday morning April 22, Mudd Center's entire water supply will be shut off for approximately 4-6 hours while it's tied into the new main water line on Lorain Street. Water will be shut off starting at 8:30 am.
What this means:
Toilets, sinks, water fountains, Quench water coolers: no water at all from 8:30 am for approximately 4-6 hours. The closet restrooms are in Wilder and they will be open while Mudd's water is shut off (although Wilder's water will be shut off for the same reason on Wed. 4/23....).
THEN.....
After the water is restored, Mudd will be under a
"Boil Alert Advisory" for at least 24 hours.
Do not drink water from any Mudd water outlets until the advisory is lifted, at which point signs will be removed. (Toilets can be flushed, and you can wash hands at sinks, just don't drink the water!)
ALSO....
Azariah's will be closed temporarily!
Azariah's will close Monday, April 21 at 11:00pm and will reopen on Thursday, April 24 at 4pm. (Reason? coffee brewers and ice machines all must be drained; Azariah's staff need extra time to get everything back on line.)
Plan accordingly! We apologize for the inconvenience.
