Vanessa Davidson to Speak About Artist Edgardo Vigo April 1st

Vanessa Davidson, the Shawn and Joe Lampe Curator of Latin American Art at the Phoenix Art Museum, will explore the multifaceted career of the Argentinian artist Edgardo Antonio Vigo (1927-1997).  Vigo was a pioneer of the mail art movement, active during Argentina’s Dirty Wars (1980s – 1990s), when the country’s military junta “disappeared” suspected opponents, including Vigo’s son Palomo.

Join the Friends of the Library at this event on Wednesday, April 1 at 4:30pm to 6:00pm in the Moffett Auditorium (Mudd 050).
