Collections Spotlight - The Weimar Republic: Arts, Politics, Society

The time period in German history between 1914-1933, known as The Weimar Republic, was a tremendously rich period in the arts – theater, dance, film, music, and literature – as well as a time of great upheaval and change in German politics and society.

Multiple Oberlin courses, as well as this year's Jantz Lecture, are focusing on the history, arts and politics of the Weimar Republic.
