Michael Suarez talk Thursday at 4:30pm
Michael Suarez, Professor of English and Director of the Rare Book School at the University of Virginia, will deliver the 2011 Harold Jantz Memorial Lecture this Thursday (March 10) at 4:30 in Craig Lecture Hall.
He will speak about the production and financing of illustrated academic books in the 17th century. The event is part of the spring semester history of the book lecture series.
Among his many scholarly achievements, Professor Suarez is co-general editor of the recently published Oxford Companion to the Book and co-editor of The Cambridge History of the Book in Britain, Volume 5, 1695-1830.
