Ben Schiff's new book, Building the International Criminal Court (Cambridge, 2008), is a comprehensive study of the creation, operation, and potential future the ICC. "A richly detailed, insightful, and engrossing account of the establishment and evolution of one of the world's most important new institutions, this remarkable book is a historical document of major significance" (Michael P. Scharf, Case Western Reserve University). Building the International Criminal Court has been chosen to receive a prestigious association award, which will be announced at Professor Schiff's talk.
