Digital Textbooks Available via Ohio Textbook Portal
Students at OhioLINK member colleges and universities are eligible for a 10% discount on electronic textbooks available via CourseSmart, the commercial supplier of content in the Ohio Textbook Portal. See their FAQ page for more information.

This may be one of the first comments this blog has received, but after the Oberlin Review also published a note about CourseSmart's e-texbooks, I wrote a short piece of my own on the topic and posted it here. Just thought I'd share.
Note that the CourseSmart e-textbook offering by the Ohio Board of Regents is just the beginning of a state-wide effort to reduce those costs. See also a new grant opportunity the University System of Ohio just announced:
